Jeff Dunham created Jose Jalapeño, the pepper on a stick, and introduced him to the world in his 2007 special Spark of Insanity. Since then, Jose has shared the stage with Jeff in hundreds of sold-out shows worldwide, throwing one-liners and side-eye like a true legend.

After all that fame, a Dutch cheesemaker released an actual Jose Jalapeño cheese, a spicy pepper cheese named after the pepper on a stick. That is the real origin of the queso picante legend, and it is why every meme here comes with extra cheese, puro queso.
